Received my copy a couple of days ago, and must FORCE myself to put it down, so things can get done at home. Storms at 7:30 p. last night had me scrambling with a flashlight to find candles and matches,.... it would be over 3 hours before I could finish cooking supper,.... so my husband and self got comfy and I read to him from the book for over 3 hours (until he protested his tummy, after the electricity came back up) But he was enjoying the women's journal stories I was reading. (We're decades long history-buffs,... it's how we met and married,... some 30 years ago) It's not our normal re-enactment, but it's STILL fascinating.The book is FILLED with photos and is a Good size,.... easily laying open as you get deeper into it.My husband is now teasing me because a library book I checked out, the day before, has still not been opened,.... as I excitedly read this one I will still have 10 years from now,... but the library book is due back in less than 2 weeks.That's all I can write now,.... I still have over half a book to finish :D
