I have purchased three separate pairs of these in the last four years. Not because they are of low quality, but my job really beats up any type of shoe or boot in no time.I keep coming back to these for several reasons. One, because they are some of the lowest on the ankle met guard shoes I could find on the internet. It gets super hot where I’m using them and the lower I can get them, the better. They also do not take that long to break in. I’ve broken in a dozen pairs of work boots or more and it is usually a pretty painful process. These honestly aren’t terrible and it’s probably due to the shape of my feet that I have any issues at all. During the break in process it feels a bit tight in the toes and my heels tend to rub on the back of the shoe a bit. All in all it takes like 4 days or so before I forget all about it and they just become a well-fitting and comfortable shoe.Another reason I like these is because they look awesome. If you can manage to not get them too dirty, they could honestly pass for a nice looking casual shoe around the workplace. The color, she shape and the boat-shoe style is right up my alley. They are breathable and durable. I have never had overly sweaty feet in these shoes. Even in 120 degrees F for 12 hours, the air flow is there and they never get soggy or uncomfortable. This, combined with how low they are keeps them cool. The reason I purchased new ones has never been because a part of them fell apart or ripped. I just trash the heck out of them and enjoy a fresh pair of shoes, even in the workplace. These babies are glued and stitched quality leather that would take a serious beating before unraveling. They are good shoes, honestly. Unless something amazing comes out, I’ll be back here next year to purchase another pair. Peace and have an awesome day.
